Full-arch implants

How much does full-arch implant treatment cost?

Acrylic All-on-X: KRW 8,500,000. Acrylic with a metal bar (Bitecore): KRW 9,500,000. Zirconia with Bitecore: KRW 10,500,000. A fixed temporary prosthesis is separate at KRW 500,000.

Why add a metal bar?

The bar forms a supporting framework inside the prosthesis. It limits bending and deformation and helps strengthen the overall structure. The acrylic teeth can still wear or chip; durability also depends on design, bite forces and grinding.

How do acrylic and zirconia differ?

Acrylic is a resin-based material with a lower initial cost and relatively straightforward adjustment and repair. It can wear, stain or chip over time.

Zirconia is a hard ceramic with good resistance to wear and staining. Repair can be more difficult, and some fractures require remaking the prosthesis. Both materials need daily cleaning and regular checks.

Why do the materials have different prices?

A metal bar requires an individually designed framework and precise fitting to the tooth portion. Zirconia involves different material costs, precision milling, high-temperature sintering, shade work and polishing. These differences affect fabrication costs.

Can I add reinforcement or change to zirconia later?

Yes, after assessment of the existing prosthesis, implants and available space. Later changes may require rebuilding and adjusting the prosthesis, so the upgrade fee differs from the price difference at the start.

Choosing acrylic + Bitecore initially costs KRW 9,500,000, which is KRW 1,000,000 above basic acrylic. Upgrading after basic acrylic costs an additional KRW 2,000,000, making the combined initial and upgrade fees KRW 10,500,000.

Choosing zirconia + Bitecore initially costs KRW 10,500,000, which is KRW 2,000,000 above basic acrylic. Upgrading after basic acrylic costs an additional KRW 3,000,000, making the combined fees KRW 11,500,000. Temporary prostheses and other separate charges are excluded.

Which material should I choose?

Acrylic may suit patients prioritizing initial cost and ease of repair. Zirconia may suit those prioritizing wear resistance and maintenance of shape and color. We also consider bite forces, grinding, opposing teeth, available space and access for cleaning.

What can cost extra?

Insurance-covered care, additional components, bone grafting and additional surgery are separate. Complex implant treatment: KRW 2,000,000 extra. One additional temporary remake is complimentary; KRW 500,000 applies from the second additional remake.

What does full-arch maintenance cost?

One routine maintenance and cleaning visit within one year of fitting is complimentary. After one year, removal, cleaning and refitting cost KRW 300,000 per arch. A protective appliance or splint costs KRW 600,000 per arch.

What if the full-arch prosthesis breaks?

Fractures within one year of initial fitting are covered at no charge. After one year, an acrylic remake is KRW 1,000,000 and a zirconia remake is KRW 2,000,000, provided the existing Bitecore can be reused.

Composite build-ups & front teeth

How much is a back-tooth composite build-up?

Premolars: simple KRW 200,000; 2 surfaces KRW 300,000; 3 or more surfaces KRW 400,000. Molars: simple KRW 200,000; 1 surface KRW 300,000; 2 surfaces KRW 400,000; 3 or more surfaces KRW 500,000.

Why do composite fees differ between teeth?

The extent of decay or damage, number of surfaces and amount of remaining tooth affect the materials and time needed. Rebuilding the contact between teeth and the biting surface also affects complexity.

What is fiber reinforcement?

A thin, tough polyethylene fiber is bonded inside the composite to reinforce selected areas, especially when much of the tooth is missing. It cannot guarantee that the tooth will never fracture; we assess whether it is needed.

What does fiber reinforcement cost?

KRW 100,000, separate from the composite build-up fee.

What is MTA?

MTA is a dental material used to protect the pulp inside a tooth or seal certain defects in the root. In suitable cases of deep decay, it can be used as part of treatment intended to preserve the pulp. Root canal treatment may still be needed depending on the condition and healing response.

What is the MTA material fee?

KRW 50,000, separate from the relevant restoration or treatment fee.

How much is composite treatment for a front tooth?

Simple KRW 200,000; 2 surfaces KRW 300,000; complex KRW 400,000; extensive KRW 600,000. The fee depends on the extent of damage and the work needed to restore shape and color.

Can you close a gap between my front teeth?

Composite gap closure is KRW 800,000 per gap. We assess gap size, tooth proportions, bite and gum health. Treating several gaps changes the total cost.

What is injection molding?

Composite is injected through a mold made from a planned tooth shape. It can be considered for reshaping or restoring worn areas, depending on the condition of the teeth.

How much is injection molding?

KRW 600,000 per tooth. The total depends on the number of teeth and the planned treatment.

Single implants

What does complex implant treatment mean?

It refers to cases requiring additional planning or techniques beyond routine placement, such as special implant positions when bone is severely limited or a complex repeat procedure after implant failure. Needing a bone graft alone does not automatically make a case complex. Applicable procedures and additional fees are explained after diagnosis, before treatment.

Which implants do you use?

We use MegaGen BlueDiamond implants, designed to support bone integration and initial stability, including in softer bone.

PLASMA Active treatment before placement helps promote integration between the implant and bone, which may help shorten treatment time.

How much is a single implant?

A dental implant is KRW 1,300,000 each, including a zirconia restoration. A pontic in a bridge is KRW 600,000 per tooth. Bone grafting: KRW 300,000–2,000,000. Sinus lift: KRW 500,000 for a crestal approach or KRW 800,000–1,000,000 for a lateral approach.

What is FGG and how much does it cost?

A free gingival graft transfers gum tissue where it is needed. Suitability depends on the tissue around the implant. The fee is KRW 300,000–800,000.

What is CTG and how much does it cost?

A connective tissue graft uses tissue beneath the gum surface to augment soft tissue where needed. The fee is KRW 300,000–800,000.

Crowns & core build-ups

What is a crown?

A tooth-shaped restoration that covers a damaged tooth to restore its shape and function. We assess remaining tooth structure and bite forces before recommending it.

What is zirconia?

A strong, tooth-colored dental ceramic used for crowns and implant restorations. It resists wear, but requires suitable thickness, design and bite adjustment.

How much is a crown?

A zirconia crown is KRW 550,000, including the temporary crown used during routine crown treatment. A core build-up is separate when needed.

What is a core build-up?

It replaces missing parts of a damaged tooth to create a foundation for a crown.

Does every crown need a core build-up?

No. It depends on how much sound tooth remains. We recommend a core when additional support is needed.

How much is a core build-up?

Simple: KRW 200,000. Complex: KRW 300,000. These fees are separate from the crown.

Why might I need a temporary crown?

A temporary crown may be used to protect the prepared tooth and maintain its appearance and function while the final crown is made.

How much is a temporary crown?

The temporary crown used during routine crown treatment is included in the crown fee. Full-arch temporary prostheses and resin jacket crowns for prognosis assessment are separate items.

What is a resin jacket crown?

A resin restoration used to protect a tooth with an uncertain prognosis while we observe its response before deciding whether to proceed with definitive treatment or extraction.

How much is a resin jacket crown?

KRW 150,000. If you proceed with definitive treatment, KRW 100,000 is credited toward that treatment fee.

Cervical restorations & Bondfill

What is cervical tooth treatment?

The cervical area is the neck of the tooth near the gumline. When it is worn, notched or damaged by decay, a restoration can fill the damaged area to protect the tooth and restore its shape.

When does a cervical lesion need treatment?

Restoration may be considered when the defect progresses, decay is present, sensitivity persists or plaque and food are difficult to clean away. Shallow, mild lesions may first be managed with brushing advice, sensitivity care and monitoring.

What kind of material is Bondfill?

Bondfill is a resin-based restorative material that bonds to the tooth and fills defects, including near the gumline. Its bonding and resilience are considered alongside the size of the defect and remaining tooth structure.

How much is Bondfill treatment?

Simple: KRW 150,000. Complex: KRW 200,000–300,000. Extensive: KRW 400,000.

Does sensitivity always need a filling?

No. Sensitivity may be related to decay, cracks, recession or other causes. We first identify the cause; mild cases may be managed with brushing changes and sensitivity care.

Can Bondfill restore receded gums?

It fills the tooth surface and does not regrow gum tissue. If a root is exposed, the suitability of a restoration or root coverage procedure is assessed separately.

Can the restored area wear or break again?

Materials may wear or detach over time. Brushing pressure, frequent acid exposure and bite forces should also be considered. Regular checks help identify areas needing repair or replacement.

GBT & preventive care

What is GBT?

Guided Biofilm Therapy identifies and removes bacterial biofilm around teeth and gums. Disclosing dye makes the biofilm visible; air, water and fine powder help remove it. Remaining hard deposits are removed where needed, followed by home-care guidance.

Learn about GBT (Korean, new tab) →

Is GBT different from insurance-covered scaling?

Scaling removes hardened deposits called calculus. GBT is a care protocol involving biofilm detection and removal, necessary calculus removal and personalized hygiene advice. Scaling may still be needed during GBT.

Does Korean health insurance cover GBT?

Our GBT care is a non-covered service. Scaling or periodontal treatment performed alongside it may qualify separately under Korean National Health Insurance rules.

Eligible adults aged 19 and over can receive insurance-covered full-mouth scaling once per calendar year when scaling alone completes treatment. Scaling for periodontal disease follows separate criteria. We check eligibility and explain co-payments separately.

How much does GBT cost?

Standard GBT: KRW 50,000. Patients without applicable health insurance coverage: KRW 120,000. Insurance co-payments are separate when insurance-covered treatment is also performed.

Do I need GBT every three months?

The interval depends on your gums, biofilm accumulation, implants and home care. It is not the same for everyone. Three-month maintenance costs KRW 120,000.

How much is fluoride application for children?

KRW 30,000. Combined with GBT, the total is KRW 40,000. Fluoride helps teeth resist decay; timing depends on the child's risk and dental condition.

Can children receive GBT?

Yes, after assessing their teeth and gums. Along with appropriate biofilm removal, we identify missed brushing areas and give children and parents detailed guidance for home care.

How much is children’s GBT with fluoride?

Children’s GBT alone is KRW 30,000. GBT and fluoride together cost KRW 40,000.

What do you check during a child’s preventive visit?

We assess the teeth and gums and identify areas missed during brushing. We explain necessary biofilm removal or fluoride care and show which areas need extra attention at home.

Do you teach children how to brush?

Yes. We identify missed areas and explain brush placement and movement suited to the child’s teeth and ability. Cleaning between teeth is also discussed when needed.

Can parents learn how to help?

Yes. We show parents the areas children tend to miss and where help with final brushing is needed. We discuss both independent brushing and parental checking.

Why consider preventive care if my child brushes daily?

Biofilm can remain between teeth or around back teeth despite daily brushing. A visit helps identify those areas and improve the home routine.

Does fluoride prevent every cavity?

Fluoride helps teeth resist decay but cannot prevent every cavity. Brushing, cleaning between teeth and snack and drink habits remain important.

Can my child eat or brush immediately after fluoride?

Instructions depend on the fluoride product and application method. We explain the appropriate timing for eating and brushing at the visit.

How often should my child have preventive care?

The interval depends on decay risk, erupting teeth, brushing and previous decay. We recommend an interval based on the examination rather than the same schedule for every child.

Gum reconstruction

What is root coverage?

It is treatment to cover an exposed tooth root with gum tissue. Suitability and the extent of coverage depend on the condition of the tooth and surrounding tissues.

How much does root coverage cost?

KRW 300,000–500,000 per tooth. We assess the number of teeth and required treatment extent.

Aesthetic treatments

Is stain removal the same as tooth whitening?

Stain removal cleans external discoloration from the tooth surface. Whitening aims to lighten the tooth itself. Stain removal costs KRW 10,000 per tooth; full-mouth removal costs KRW 100,000–200,000.

How much is gum depigmentation?

KRW 100,000 per tooth, excluding VAT. We assess the cause and condition before recommending treatment.

Can a gummy smile be treated?

A gummy smile means a large amount of gum shows when smiling. The cause determines the appropriate approach. The listed fee is KRW 1,200,000; we explain the applicable treatment after diagnosis.

How much are laminate veneers?

The listed fee is KRW 660,000, including VAT. We first assess suitability based on tooth condition and the desired change.

Can cleaning remove coffee stains?

Surface stains from coffee or tea may improve with cleaning. The tooth’s natural shade or internal discoloration will not change through surface cleaning alone.

Will stain removal make my teeth whiter than their natural shade?

It reveals the original shade by removing surface pigments. Lightening the tooth itself requires a different approach, such as whitening.

Can stains return?

Yes, especially with continued coffee, tea or tobacco exposure. We discuss cleaning habits and areas prone to staining.

Can you clean stains from only a few teeth?

Yes. Localized stain removal is KRW 10,000 per tooth; full-mouth removal is KRW 100,000–200,000.

Do dark gums always need treatment?

No. Natural melanin pigmentation may make healthy gums look dark. We identify the cause and discuss treatment if an appearance change is desired.

Can pigmentation return after gum depigmentation?

Yes. The timing and extent vary, and factors such as smoking also matter.

Is gum depigmentation the same as gummy smile treatment?

Depigmentation addresses gum color. Gummy smile treatment addresses the reasons too much gum shows when smiling.

Can a gummy smile always be fixed by reducing the gums?

No. Gum coverage, upper lip movement and the position of the teeth and jaw can contribute. Treatment depends on the cause.

What are laminate veneers?

Thin restorations bonded to the front of teeth to change color or shape. Tooth condition and bite affect suitability.

How much tooth is removed for veneers?

It depends on tooth position, shape and the planned change. No-preparation treatment is not suitable for everyone. Removed tooth structure cannot be restored to its original state.

Could composite be used instead of veneers?

Small chips or limited shape changes may be restored with composite. We compare options based on the extent, color, remaining tooth and bite.

What if a veneer comes off or breaks?

Depending on its condition, it may be rebonded, repaired or replaced. Keep the detached piece and bring it in; do not glue it yourself.

Can I still get decay with veneers?

Yes, around the veneer and in remaining tooth structure. Clean the gumline and between teeth carefully.

Botulinum toxin & grinding splints

How much is masseter and temporalis botulinum toxin treatment?

KRW 200,000. Suitability is assessed from symptoms and muscle condition.

How much is botulinum toxin treatment for migraine?

KRW 500,000. We assess headache history and cause before deciding suitability.

How much is a grinding splint?

KRW 600,000. It is a custom protective appliance that requires fit and bite checks. Full-arch prosthesis protection has a separate fee.

How can I tell if I grind my teeth?

Signs include a partner hearing grinding, morning jaw soreness and worn or chipped teeth. Diagnosis includes an examination and symptom history.

Can silent clenching also need care?

Clenching can strain teeth and chewing muscles. We assess pain and damage before recommending habit changes or protection.

Where are the masseter and temporalis muscles?

The masseter is near the back of the cheek; the temporalis lies at the temple. Both are used for chewing and clenching.

Will botulinum toxin stop my grinding completely?

It may reduce chewing muscle force but does not guarantee that grinding or clenching stops. Other care may still be needed.

Is the effect permanent?

No. Effects are temporary and vary. Repeat treatment depends on symptoms and reassessment.

Can chewing feel weaker after injections?

Temporary weakness or chewing fatigue can occur. Bruising, pain or changes in facial expression are also possible; benefits and risks are discussed beforehand.

Should jaw pain always be treated with injections?

No. Pain may come from muscles, the joint or a tooth. The cause should be identified first.

What does a splint do?

It separates opposing teeth to help protect teeth and restorations. It does not guarantee elimination of grinding.

When should I wear my splint?

Often during sleep, but instructions depend on the symptoms and purpose. Follow your prescribed wear schedule.

What if my splint feels tight or painful?

Persistent pain or pressure on one tooth needs review. Do not file the appliance or reshape it in hot water; have it adjusted.

How do I clean my splint?

Rinse and clean gently with a soft brush. Avoid hot water and follow material-specific instructions for cleansers and storage.

Do I need both injections and a splint?

Not everyone needs both. Muscle symptoms and the need to protect teeth are assessed separately.

Can anyone with headaches receive migraine injections?

No. Headache pattern, frequency, diagnosis and medicines must be reviewed. Assessment by an appropriate specialist may be needed.

Findings during treatment can affect the plan. If a change is needed, we explain why and discuss the expected costs and next steps.

Suction dentures

What is a suction denture?

A denture designed to maintain a seal against the gums and surrounding tissues during movement. Limiting air entry beneath the denture helps retention.

How is a suction denture different from a metal-mesh denture?

Suction describes the impression and border design used to improve the seal. Metal mesh is an internal reinforcement that helps resist bending or fracture.

Does metal mesh stop a denture from coming loose?

Mesh alone does not create suction. Fit, border seal and bite matter. Suction design and internal reinforcement can be used together.

Will a suction denture work equally well for everyone?

Retention varies with ridge shape, movable tissues, tongue function and saliva. We assess these factors before fabrication.

Is a suction denture removable?

Yes. You remove and insert it yourself. It differs from a full-arch prosthesis fixed to implants.

Is your suction denture the same service as an insurance-covered denture?

Our suction denture service is listed separately as non-covered care. Insurance dentures follow specified eligibility, material and fabrication rules. The word 'suction' alone does not determine insurance status.

How much does a suction denture cost?

The fee is explained after assessing the arch and treatment extent, separately from any insurance-denture co-payment.

Korean National Health Insurance

Does insurance mean treatment is free?

No. Co-payments apply and vary by service and eligibility. They are explained separately from non-covered fees.

Is scaling covered once a year?

Eligible adults aged 19 and over have annual coverage from January 1 to December 31 when full-mouth scaling completes treatment. Periodontal treatment follows separate criteria.

At what age are dentures covered?

Coverage may apply from age 65, subject to dental and benefit criteria. The usual National Health Insurance co-payment is 30%; reduced-rate categories differ.

Is every replacement denture covered?

A seven-year benefit interval generally applies to the same site and denture type. Exceptions require assessment of oral changes and benefit history.

Are all implants covered after age 65?

No. Remaining teeth and previous benefits must meet the criteria. Eligible patients have coverage for up to two implants over their lifetime.

Does implant insurance include bone grafting?

Grafting and other additional procedures are assessed separately. Any additional fees are explained before treatment.

Can you confirm my private dental insurance coverage?

Private coverage depends on your policy. Confirm with your insurer and let reception know which clinical documents you need.
